I would try to contact him. You can get a BOS from the DMV and mail it to him to be notarized and he can mail it back. The guy I work with just went through this with his boat. It is now titled in his name free and clear...

yea needless to say im pist...but u live and you learn i almost cry anytime i see a clean white one.....if it doesnt work ill take a decent dd with clean title for trade...or sell it for enough to get one...maybe even same for shells....if i dont get any decent offers before i get the title fixed im keeping it
