The time has come to sell or trade my car. I need something with just a tad bit more space and something different for a change. It is a 1993 Toyota MR2 Turbo. I am the 3rd owner. I have owned and maintained the car since 2006. I have the original window sticker as well. It has 196,000 miles on the body and 51,350(currently) on the motor and transmission. In 2009 I bought a very low mileage GEN III Motor and trans from a friend in Japan that personally knew the owner of the 1997 Donor mr2 that it came out of. When the gen 3 3sgte was pulled on the odometer it had exactly 32,423 KM (20,153 miles) on it. The engine and transmission are mint and operate flawlessly. This has been my daily driver since 2006. This car is beyond reliable it starts up every time on the first couple cranks and will drive to California and back no problem. I have religiously changed the oil Every 3000 with Mobil 1 gold Cap. and use a K&N Oil filter.
If you are not familiar with Mr2's the most sought after year is a 93+ because of all the suspension changes (to help lessen the snap over steer the 91-92s had) and electrical harness changes. A 93 is what you want when looking for an Mr2. The 94-and 95s were made in such short numbers that they are almost impossible to find now. The USDM MR2s also only made 200hp while the gen III started at 245hp. Ok onto the specs!

PROS:
When I lived in Orlando I took the car to Orlando speed World once to see what it would do. I ran 2 times down the track and both were 13.6X @ 102-103 @ the stock 9-10 Psi. I have never owned a boost controller for this car so the Boost has never been changed from the stock 9-10psi. A mid 13 sec mr2 is a great fast fun reliable daily to have.
Everything mechanically works flawlessly and this car has ZERO LEAKS of any kind.
This 93 Mr2 has full options including Hydro Electric Power steering and ABS
T TOPS!!!
Rare Tan/Black leather interior.
CONS:
No A/C currently. I used to live in Wichita Kansas for a bit and when I did the Gen 3 swap I sold the Compressor to a friend that needed it. If you would like to hunt down the items needed it will work. You need the gen 3 Compressor, A/C pully, Condenser, and Passenger Front A/C line. Items are fairly easy and inexpensive to find , my job never allowed me much time to do so.
Drivers Front leather Seat is Fuk'D I'm guessing from myself jumping in and out of the thing and from the heat of Florida just did a number on this thing.
Just 2 weeks ago driving on 275 a Ford Festiva chucked a rock and cracked the upper left corner of my already brand new windsheild. So this will need replacing soon.
I bought the Car for $9250 with way less mods and a stock usdm engine back in 2006, Now since I must include a price I will start @ $ 8000 OBO. Or Trade for a Nice S14 with SR20 or nice FC with Cash on top. Other Import Trades welcome. Please NO HONDAS/ACURAS.
