F/S F/T: 2005 SRT4 project car
F/S F/T: 2005 SRT4 project car
Car is located in Vero Beach, FL. you must bring a trailer to pick it up.
Up for sale is my 2005 Dodge Neon SRT4. The car has 84k original miles on it. All stage 1. It does have a salvage title due to a theft recovery in TX.
MODS: 3" turbo back exhaust with cutout, AEM wideband sensor wired in ready for gauge, KYb adjustable struts with mopar springs, ARP headstuds, NEW ACT 6 puck clutch kit, plus probably some other stuff im forgetting.
-Interior is in damn near perfect condition. Has 3 gauge pod holder. Prewired for AEM wideband with sensor already in exhaust.
-Exterior has a few smallish dents and faded paint. Most all of the VIN stickers are present on the car!
-Suspension has full KYB adjustable struts with Mopar lowering springs. Stock wheels painted black. Stock brakes with over 70% life left!
-Transmission is stock LSD 05 trans with a NEW (less than 500 miles) ACT 6 puck clutch.
-Engine has a bad piston! It will need to be rebuilt or replaced. I pulled the head off already to diagnose, and found a bad piston and scratched up cylinder wall. The engine already has ARP headstuds, and the head was recently checked and resurfaced by a machine shop. So basically it just needs a shortblock new headgasket and reassemble.
I bought the car in running condition, it just had no compression on cylinder 3. I test drove it to make sure the trans shifted into every gear and did not pop out. Car is solid besides the shortblock. This could be a easy car to repair and flip as the blue book value is over 7k in lowest possible condition with this milage.
Shortblocks are around $300-400, then a headgasket is $100 if that, so this can easily be a $7k + car with little invested in it. I just do not have the time/money to take on a project like this unfortunatly
Looking to trade for something running/driving. Doesnt necessarily need to be in great shape, and can be a project car aswell. I will obviously like to sell it for cash, but will entertain offers. LMK what you have, and the worst ill say is no.. I wouldnt mind some vehicle trade plus cash either.
