I always liked going to Auburndale. Simple 1/4 mile asphalt, cheap entrance + drunk rednecks = fun for the whole family.

Now I get Talledega twice a year: Miles and miles of asphalt, really expensive tickets + 300,000 drunk rednecks = still fun. All the smaller local roundy rounds up here are dirt, and I haven't checked them out yet.

I had raced at Desoto Speedway for almost 10 years, in Mod Mini # 54 then to Sportsman #54 Camaro 2 races blew motor, then Pure stock able to run this class cheaper than the engine I was going to have to build for the Sportsman to be competitive. Chrysler Cordoba # 54 and then to the Cowboy cadillacs Dodge Truck #55. I think Desoto is one of the best tracks around. Unfortunately the track politics sucked. I have heard rumers that the track is for sale and when it does sell I will be back to race again. I currently have a 1973 Duster Drag car to hold me over until the track sells.

my lag is your courtesy head start

ATTENTION.... installing a head gasket, head studs or pistons and rods in your otherwise STOCK engine dose not make it a "built" engine! stop listing you cars for sale saying they are built when its not!!

Raced go-karts and stock cars @ Sunshine. Used to race at Citrus but the tech guy lets certain people get away with cheating.

ran at eastbay for 3 years, now work there. it sucks not racing anymore but at least im there to see my favorite hobby, also its cheaper!! LOL i have been to ocala and those guys up there are wild, its more like a demo-derby then racing. Also just got back from clarksville tenn. I went up there with a friend and they had UMP latemodels that were awsome, up there they are allowed to run hoosier tires on their 4 cylinder bomber class, and also if you have a good enough car you can race in the 4 cylinder outlaw class along with the outlaws. It was the coolest thing i seen in a while.
