You guys are preaching to a domestic owner that doesnt understand (may never understand). This is just like all the import races that are around the area. For example War of the Imports (Orlando) gets less and less attandance every time because they let in SUVs sedans american cars anything on 4 wheels because they are greedy (basically if you have money they will let you run same thing with Lakeland events). People just dont want to see it so people wont go. This is the same thing here. You call it street racing at the track. This means street legal cars. Do what the track was originally intended to do (let in street legal cars ONLY). I mean real street legal cars too not cars that have a parachute on them slaped license plates on the them and cant make it 10 miles without refueling at the nearest gas station or breaking down. No one who has a real street car would race on of them. Oh well this is the reason why I didnt go this time. I may not make it to the next one either but you can just let another trailer queen in to take my place.

I should have expected that comment sooner or later. Thats right us domestic owners on a whole (especially me) are just bafoons with 15 second cars ! So what do I not understand ? Better yet what is there to understand ?

I pretty much resent your first comment bad day or not especially since you are judging me without knowing all of the facts! The funny thing here is that you guys poke fun at and are tired of seeing 100+ ricers and 17 second drag machines at the 1320 events but are bitching about 5-10 trailored cars that run fast ? Who cares if they get their own line they are only going to make a few passes anyway and have downtime between each run.

Granted everyone should be able to come and run what ya brung whether it runs 17 seconds or 9 seconds they all have there place. But believe it or not there are actually street races that I guess you guys dont know about that have sub 10 second cars racing. I think most of you guys just figure trailored cars do not street race wrong ! Stupid as hell and I do not condone it but it happens.

What makes you think that all of the trailored cars at 1320 are not street legal ? I know that three of them that usually come out to 1320 live in Largo and driving that far at night in that fast of a car is not feasable but trailoring it down is. Sorry they do not get the same gas mileage as your cars but thats the price you pay when you want to go fast. And all three of these guys have been seen DRIVING there cars to gatherings closer to Largo. So if you have a parachute you must not be street legal ? Ever seen the blue tubbed Viper in Largo that is on the street almost everyday ? Guess what he has a chute !

So you guys are trying to tell me that if BMP banned any car from coming in on a trailor at 1320 you would be happier ? How about if 5-10 imports that ran in the 9s pulled in and BMP told them sorry got to go. Think all hell would break loose from the mostly import crowd ? Yeah that is what I thought.

Try looking down both sides of the street not just one.

Yes Ive seen 9s cars streetrace. Ive also seen them trailored in and have seen them loose control too. But hey if you want to slap a liscense plate on a dragster and call it street legal the more power to ya. You asked ever month how it and people tell you. This is only my opinion but Im not the only one.

If Ive seen any 9s imports I would say bye bye too. Most likely they are rotaries (bap bap bap) anyways. Too loud and can blow up at any time.

Sorry to see you will not be attending 1320 anymore over a handful of cars but that is your choice.
