It is at these tracks appearently, that's how it is in Hialeah and the reason they can't have events in the paddock...the insurance for the track only covers driving on the track.

regardless, it was good fun for a couple of runs just testing the place. also, if the staff want to mix it up you can run it the other way and have right turns every other run or whatever.
I see two fun looking corners, what about those?

expt for the fact that the bbq was planned before the date change. and having a bbq at the drift event isnt what i wanted.

i guess you should try and plan something and take time to plan it then watch some asshat plan a drift event on the 18th then say ohh yea im a change it to the date of the bbq.

KInda like the TR BBQ. but what I don't get is this.....we finally have MORE events (which alot of us have been asking for) and your concerned it's gonna interfere with your BBQ?

I thought this was all about DRIFTING.....not BBQ's.

<-----wants to drift a Char-Broil BBQ at the next event .

Wait, so it is an oval and not a road course? I'm a bit confused.

no, its only an oval. the rest of the "infield track" doesnt really work out. there is a turn in, two u turns on a small oval (not the banked turns on the outside, a piece of the "road course") and a turn out in the opposite direction.

also, there is enough room on the straights that you can get some pretty good manji-style feinting and set yourself up for the big turns at the end. again, the turns are big, but not too big even for NA guys.
