A few other coming attractions....Keystone Motor Club is supporting the Keystone Civic Association for the Free Family Festival on November 12 2022.
We will have a tent set up with our display to provide shade for you at Keystone Recreation Center, 17928 Gunn Highway, Odessa, FL 33556 Just North of Van Dyke Road. Bring your own chair and/or put your tent snugged up against ours and we can count it as part of our display.....Roll in around 9-10AM until we hear differently. They expect 4,000 visitors.

Back on OCT 15 2022..................
41 people signed in to get the $25 Gift Certificate and/or Trophy....another 60 to 80 filled the parking lot with decorated cars and Halloween costumes. It was a great Time!

There were 5 other car shows that day, but thank you for visiting Keystone Motor Club.
We gave away $79 for 50/50 Club Participation. and Lulu Mae McCarty won the Gift Certificate. Paul lutgen dressed as "Classic Car Salesman", won Best Of Show trophy and then gave it to the Camaro guy parked next to him.

Halloween costumes were so loosely defined that you could be anyone you wanted to be including "Henry Fred" as Henry Ford in a Red '49 Ford or Carmen Miranda in a Blue '57 Chevy. A costume got you a second FREE red ticket for the 50/50 as we announced in the newsletter.

At Keystones Friday Night Cruisein at Tropical Smoothies on Nov 4, Robert Pluess
rode his Ducati over before heading to FloraBama, plus a couple Mustangs, Mark Stickel's
55 Chevy, a Chevy Nova, a Karman Ghia and several street cars who did not sign in. The Friday Night Special is 50% off the Large 24 OZ Smoothie. Take a picture of your car in the lot and show it to the cashier to get the special Car Show Price ....and even on Friday nights when I can't be there. We are straight across Citrus Park Drive from Smokey Bones, North side of the street,and one block West of the elevated Upper Tampa Bay Trail.

Antonio Ocana won the 24" Best Of Show Herb and Carol Wagner Memorial trophy with his green '57 Chevy Convertible. The $25 Gift Certificate was won by Alex Wadsworth who brought his kids with him in his '48 Kaiser. When they are little is the best time of your life!

Don Smith from Christian Hot Rodders Assn over on US 19, had a 10' X 10' piece of artwork displayed on the Bed Cover of his '78 GMC Caballero ......did I just say Bed Cover? The "artwork" was in reality an intricate one-of-a-kind HAND MADE quilt involving HUNDREDS of hours of Don's hand stitching many antique and classic car panels as well as the hand stitching to assemble the quilt itself once the car panels were finished. I hope Don shows it off again.

Thank you to Jim and Sedona Gotsis for the dozen doughnuts at KMC, and also for putting on the evening cruise-in (with food and music) for Hurricane Relief and the Holiday Food Drive at Integrity Tire, 4029 little Road 34655 NPR. I also saw the drop off box of Toys for Tots while I ate my three burger combos...burp! While looking at the cars.......Nitish Rele, publisher of Motoring Tampa Bay Magazine gave us an extra bundle of magazines for Integrity Tire..

After the KMC car show, some members drove over to the assisted living Magnolia Manor on Old Tobacco Road. I went over to supply some muscle for moving tables or setting up tents and expected it would be all classic cars, but when I got there, they waved my Dodge Charger into the lineup. I had a good time pushing the button on peoples camera phones and listening to stories from nice people who can no longer drive.
I'm glad I went.

If you bring more spectators, just mention it at registration...no cost for them.

You are now 3rd on the pre-sign-in list for DEC 17 2022.

The Free Blue Ticket makes you eligible for the Trophy and $25 gift certificate.
With the Free Blue Ticket there is no entry fee for you in the car show.
Put the money in the gas tank.

The Keystone Motor Club is the most laid back easy going car club there is.
Since 2012, we charge no dues. To pay for our hot dog parties and monthly special themes, etc we sell 50/50 Red tickets with guaranteed $25 payout. Since January 2022 it has paid between $50 and $100 each month. October it paid $79.

Early roll in is 930AM at 16921 Gunn Hwy 33556 Odessa/Tampa/Keystone
at Yellow Bird Art Studios parking lot.

We draw blue tickets for trophy and gift certificate at 11AM and are gone by noon.
Find a spot, back in, open the hood. There will be all kinds of cars.

Registration table will be half way between the building and the North Lot...
where the handicap sign is.

If it looks like it might rain, save yourself some cleanup time.
Don't get your show car wet. We allow substitute vehicles and we draw
names for awards.
I'm going to send you some sample newsletters and a picture of our building.

1.Be aware of email scams that start "You have won........."
There are many scams right now starting with those words. Don't even click their link,
which sometimes contains a virus.......which they will remove for a fee....until they activate it again...and again....


2. Another scam...so far with outdoorsy items.... is where they offer you a free item or greatly reduced price item and all you pay is a shipping/handling fee of $5. Once they find the $5 went onto a valid credit card, they bill your credit card for odd amounts in the $60 to $70 range.
