Talking Home from the Keys....

Went for mini season and came back with 25 lobster. The boat ran aground on our way back in wednesday and couldnt go backout on thursday. So we drove around a bit to kill some time at Islamorada. They were having a wet t-shirt contest there tonight (saturday) and mechanical bull riding someother night. So that got me thinking. Why not combine the joys of a good holesome wet t-shirt contest AND the mechanical bull? Whoever stays on the bull the longest without a bewba popping out is the winner. Its a win-win no matter how you look at it! Thought?

Islamadora is where we're headed on the 9/11 Mustang run. Is it nice there? I've never been to the keys.

Here's the original info from the thread on SouthFloridaStangs.net:
The people have spoken and we have listened! This years 911 Run will be on Saturday September 8th and our destination will be none other than the world famous Tiki Bar located at Holiday Isle Resort in Islamorada, the Florida Keys!

Restaurants at Holiday Isle Beach Resort in Islamorada, Florida Keys

They have promised us pre-blocked parking for up to 250 vehicles so this will become our pre sale limit for this event. (no it will not be like the first year) We will also have our own security guard overnight!

Unfortunately Homestead Speedway won't be an option this year but this is guaranteed to be a kick ass event anyway and great for the whole family! We held the first event their two years and the cruise down (125 Mustangs) was amazing and the location even better.

To make things even better, we made it on a Saturday so people will have the opportunity to stay overnight if they wish. To top things off, we have got special discounted rates and Holiday Isle has waived their two night minimum stay for us.

The rates if you do choose to stay are:

$99 regular room
$139 ocean view room

The contact info is:

1-800-327-7070 x 626

Holiday isle is where the playboy bunnies get togther once a year for a huge party. I can never remember what weekend it is. Ask $hawn he knows. I was stationed in key west for 3 yrs and i hated it, living there is wayyyyyyyyy different than visiting.
