Just wondering who has the fastest stock headed mustang.79 to 94 5 liter.Power adders included.Im at a 6.95@86 in the 1/8.I havent had the chance to run it in the 1/4 yet.I milk shaked the motor last week so I pulled it out and im going to freshen it up,and o ring the heads{something I should have done a long time ago}damn 10 head bolts.

i ran 9.4 @ 78mph on a 2.3 60ft time ... did they grease up the track or something? I know I don't have that much power. O well, just need to get some nittos for my birthday ... I'm hoping for high 8s if i can get traction. So I'd say your way faster than me but ... I'm not a real good example considering my best mod is gears.

 

its 79 - 95 and stock heads are to heavy.

 

I think I was one of the fastest to take them off!

I am hoping to have stock heads soon, but with some spice in them muwahwaa!
gonna obtain some Crane 1.7's for 50 bucks! brand new and soaking in oil and they are 200 bucks new whoo!
then E7's for 40 bucks, then we will see what I can port, polish and angle them for, maybe even shave... gonna be a fun project to knock me into the 12's and into the 7's in the 1/8th, and all with the E cam to..

no im gonna run some 24 pound injectors, no mass air , then E cam and headwork, I hope she starts up and if it does, may it be for more than 5 seconds.....
