All-new 2005 Mustang GT will pace the field in Ford 400 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup event in November.
CORAL GABLES, FL, July 21, 2004 - Ford Motor Company, today unveiled a special 2005 Mustang GT to serve as the official NASCAR pace car during the Ford Championship Weekend in November at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The Mustang unveiling marks the kick-off event for various Championship Weekend community activities targeting local youths, teens and families.

yeah, cool for a pace car, but I wouldnt want to be in one around town. A collectors item, if you were to have cash like that.

I dont think its real. Those are the same pics that have been out for a while - someone just put GFX on them with photoshop or something.
Maybe Ford photochopped the pics?

the pace cars wheels and stance look MUCH more aggresive. it lacks the FORD OEM off road package on all new mustangs.
