Actually if I remember correctly some guy in the U.S. bought the rights to the GT40 name years ago and would not sell it back to Ford therefore they had to change the name because he threatened legal action.

Anyone read the article (can't remember the magazine) where they placed the Ford GT against the Ferrari (Scaglietti?)?. I wanted to sell all my belongings, prostitute myself and live on the street to buy the GT. BEEEEautiful piece of machinery
