Default Major, Major kudos to Rob & Joe

at Forsdspeed. Joe flailed away on my car Friday night until about 1:00 am so I could make track day. He busted his ass getting a lot of crap installed and trying to squash some bugs that cropped up. All this while his own car was having some serious issue that needed addressing. In the end, he managed to get both cars to the track in a respectable fashion. Nice job, Joe!

They were also a big help during the race, tracking down MSD pills, providing tools and other various and sundry shit that I had forgotten to bring along. Then, another biggie, on the way home, just a few feet from the Skyway bridge, I blew a turbo pipe off and went dead on the side of the road. Joe and Rob came rolling along with their enclosed trailer, complete with lights, generator, tools and a lot of help. We had to damn near disassemble the fender to get to it. It took 3 sets of hands and probably about an hour to get the bitch back on. Thanks guys! You da Mans!!

Bill, that was like 2.9 sets of hands.

Their website is www.fordspeedracing.com

Mars, the unhealthy part, (I hope) was the car on the 2 step and the trans brake. First time I had ever tried it out. I need bigger pills for the 2 step so it can cough a little louder and higher.

Chris, I got an 11.86 I think it was and Joe got a 10.81. Not bad for the first time out or both cars. We'll both be looking for more. I was still on the stock suspension. Came up with a few problems with the control arms when Joe started to install them at dark thirty Friday night. They are Derek's old ones from the crashed car. One of the Heim joints was stretched out pretty bad so I'll have to pick up a replacement for it. I missed that but Joe spotted it. I was also hitting 10's on the AFR so I need to get it on the dyno to straighten that out.

Default good deal..

Tony, sorry about the heim joint.. I guess I should've looked closer at them before listing them..

Let me know the next time you're going out, I'll bring my helmet up to the shop so you can leave your Apollo 13 style lunar noggin module at home!

Can't wait to see the car run it's full potential sir, lot to learn on the Turbo side of the world... BTW, the 70 arrives tomorrow..
