Im gonna be moving over to Tampa in the Fall and was wondering if any one on these boards uses a Tweecer. It would be fun to share knowledge or something, let me know.

Yup. I've been playing around with the Tweecer. It gets exciting sometimes.

Are you any good with it? Where are you located in relation to USF?

I wouldn't say that...but I haven't caused any major explosions with it yet. It's a very powerful tuning tool and gives you another 1001 ways to blow up your engine. I'm in Largo and would be willing to help as much as I can. My best advice would be to start reading the Tweecer board http://eectuning.org/forums and to buy EEC Analyzer for looking at your datalogs...hopefully you have a Tweecer RT and not just the base model. Get EA at http://eecanalyzer.webhop.net/

What is your setup?

OK, here's about the best condensed version I've found of what to do once you get the TwEECer installed and working. I copied this off the TwEECer board and mad a couple of changes that were either incorrect or were specific to 42# injectors and gave you generic formulas. Have fun. Any questions, just ask and I'll try to answer them.

How to Start Tuning w/ TwEECer

After days of searching for info, this is the list I’ve compiled of values I need to modify for my single turbo 5.0 @ 8psi. I wont have hands on until i get back to the states, but im trying to get a very good idea of what i need to do when i get back. The turbo setup will be installed when i get back so i wanted to get it tuned asap. Am i missing anything from this this? Please add or make corrections to the list as you see fit. Also, specific or approximate values would be appriciated. Thanks in advance.

Timing
3 spark tables (altitude, limp, and sea level) Control your timing everywhere, but WOT . Set all 3 to the values in the sea level table.
Base OL spark – should be set at 10, push the limit without detonation
WOT spark advance vs RPM – take degrees out to prevent detonation at boost levels.

Air/Fuel Ratio
Disable adaptive mode - ACT maximum = 1; ACT minimum = 250. Adaptive will only function if the air charge is less than the maximum and more than the minimum. So setting the two values like this keeps adaptive from ever kicking in. Once tuned, re-enable and set fuel table adaptive update rate to all 10s except the top row. This will help the engine learn better at all levels. Also change adaptive min and max to 30 and 200. This will help the engine learn at all temps.
Base OL fuel Table- controls all your fuel except WOT and startup. Use the Base OL table, plug in 11.5 (set to around 13.4 for N/A setups), then data log, and make corrections on the MAF transfer to get it to a 11.5 at the exhaust end.
Fuel table startup OL – change fuel delivery for ECT, last two columns for hot start
Fuel table stabilized – switches to this table once ect is stable. Set you a/f ratio according to load
WOT fuel multiplier- Set to all 1's initially. Controls your fuel at WOT, BUT this is a multiplier (i.e. 1=stoich, .9 = 10% rich, 1.1 = 10% lean) it gets its final value from the base OL table. The WOT Fuel multiplier is almost last resort to get the A/F nice and stable throughout the RPM range.
Accel enrichment vs. TP – add or remove fuel. 3rd y value, boosted should be around .450-.650
Cranking fuel PW vs. time – lower this if necessary to help with startup. 0.6 or so
PW vs. ECT – lower this as well to ease hot start.

MAF/Injector compensation
MAF Curve – increase or decrease values (kg/hr) to correct a/f ratio if needed. Should be close to stated values. Smaller kg/hr values lean out the mixture while larger values richen the mixture.

Injectors – Change high slope to actual injector size, low slope to actual size *1.2. This lets the low slope make low rpms smoother
Injector offset vs. battery voltage – ((19/new injector size) * stock scalar y values )) = new offset values

Misc Scalars
WOT breakpoint – lower to 2.0 to engage WOT tables sooner
Speed limiter A&B – set both to 127.5 to disable
Rev limiter half fuel on/off – set on higher than off, set both to 7000 to disable
Time at high load to force open loop – set to 0
