Looks like there's a lot that has already gone on that we aren't privy to...lug nuts, pain chips etc. Shit happens on the dyno that isn't necessarily the fault of the guy trying to tune it...that's why they all have you sign a release.

Oh, and the bridge thing. He's right, there is a BIG difference between a balls to the wall run over a bridge like Gandy and a 1/4 mile run or a dyno run up to your redline and then getting out of it. Being able to maintain sufficient fuel pressure and flow for one is a lot different than the other.
you know i figured that ken would call out of the woodwork being as that he is banned at every forum. I am the shop mangager here. (matt) and will HAPPILY answere any questions that ANYONE on this thread has. there are quite a few lies on here that i will straten out. people are alowed to beleive what they want but i want everyone to know the TRUTH about what happened before making decisions. as posted earlier that is our phone number and don as well as i will answere ANY questions. First off, ken brought his cobra to us and spacificly requested that he make 800+ RWHP. we told him the only way to do this was with a f1A procharger and alcohol. he wanted maximum boost. which we gave him. (30 PSI) he will probably chime in and say that it had 30 degrees timing in it. this is compleatly false it had 25 degrees timing in it but also had alcohol injection as well as race fuel in the tank upon the time of tuning. it left hear with a PERFECT 11.5 AFR across the board. car ran flawlessly. i met him one night out on the bridge were he handed an ass whopping to a few people again car ran perfect. then, ken has the idea that he is going to port the intake. upon test driving it the onboard widband indicated that there was a SAVEAR lean condition above 5,000 RPM he was instructed to take it easy on the car and bring it too the shop where it could be retuned for the intake. he dispite this decided to race a bike in which time the motor decided it had enough and blew. i PERSONALLY did everything i could to help him after the matter. he was given a VERY reasonable price for a billet shortblock and he turned it down deciding that he did not have the money. no he has decided that he wants to bash us because we are not giving him a free motor? i am sorry but it does not work this way. he left here KNOWING that 800 + RWHP on a stock motor was NOT A GOOD IDEA. but that is what he wanted and that is what he got. again i will answere ANY questions that ANYONE might have about this matter.

he did not pick it up on a trailer... he left here beating the HELL out of it... then proceded to come back the next day bragging about how it would break the tires loose at 120 MPH, stud was not broken, lugnut was missing from the time it came in the door. i personally noticed it when he dropped it off. car was indeed scratched but with no clue how (or if it was even from us considering we did not inspect the car upon delivery). again he was compinsated over $300 off his bill to cover the cost of the scratch. this is somthing the ken agreed apon., only had 25 degrees, had race fuel in the tank, old parts were left here on our floor for over 2 months and he never came to get them. he could have had them at ANY TIME!!!. and i am sure he will start bitching about how it took 3 months... well i am sure he will not tell you there upon ordering a CUSTOM kit that takes 5 WEEKS to make he dropped it off the next day. so if he had dropped off the car when instructed it would only taken a month to finish

That all sounds real convincing except for the fact that I pulled the tune out of the PCM and that there was 29 degrees to be exact in the tune, and that the pulley configuration that is on the car @ 7000 RPM will yield 35 psi and that the dyno sheets Ken provided have the car running at 12.2 to1,and that the car made 700RWHP 1 time, and that every piston in the motor was subject to more detonation that any engine can live through and that I think your exaggerating when you say he ported the intake and created a huge lean condition etc...etc...etc...We all street race so tune your vehicles accordingly, the next time you over tune a vehicle and you have a problem don't tell the customer he is a fucking idiot and that you and the procharger guys got a laugh out of Ken trying to get some PROFESSIONAL help, and that you have all of the conversations on transcripts and that you have a photographic memory etc..etc..etc..Not a good look

That's a shitty deal.

I personally wouldn't deal with a shop that spells every other word wrong either.

Sucks now man, but everyone gets theirs...

the reason eveyone bashed MM is becouse MM is always the common point. this is not the first or second time this has happened at your shop. nobody on here knows the truth but you and the customer, but with your history eveyone is going to jump on the customers side.
