I can tell you from personal experience that Sam is not a good person for you to compare yourself too. He would never have tuned a stock 03 Cobra motor to 35 lbs on a stock bottom end. 35 lbs is just crazy. 29lbs is crazy. I took my car to Sam looking for as much power as I could get from it. He advised me of the max hp and boost he was comfortable tuning my car too with a stock short block and he wouldn't go any farther with it even though I asked him if we could. Sam values his reputaion more than the dollar. Next time someone comes to you with overly high expectations maybe you should refuse the work and the money to save your reputation. I'm sure this little episode has tarnished your rep. and cost you far more work than you made from this guy Ken. Remember your dealing with street car people not race engine experts. YOU ARE THE EXPERT HERE NOT YOUR CUSTOMERS.

From one business owner to another if you respond to none true accusations on the internet your opening yourself a can of worms which will not easily close .. if your right in this instance be man about it and let him vent and it would all go away in a matter of hours. If your wrong in this instance them make your repair offer in public showing you recognize the mistake and handleing it in a proper and true manner. But only post a single reply with your offer. for anything else is like throwing gasoline on a fire. the more you speak the bigger chance of getting burned.

1. - MM already has a bad name on many boards.

2. - 800+ RWHP? Only way is with a F1 and alcohol? Are you kidding me? For 15K there are several ways to make that power.

3. - Some advise. When you know something is ‘NOT A GOOD IDEA’, no matter how much money a customer throws your way - DONT DO IT!

always make a safe tune, you should know this, especially the way people treat their cars. like JDL said, these are street racers not pro racers.

Everytime you work on someones car, remember, you are putting the shops rep on the line.

And damn….30 degrees WTF? Is that even legal?
