dude are you freakin kidding me...

please please...delete this thread before you get your feelings hurt...

1. skyline import = illegal for road use (and you can import them for far cheaper than 80k)
2. june 2009 skyline will be for sale in the US, msrp =70k
3. good luck trying to retain awd with a non awd engine...there has been a TT LS1 swap in a skyline...but it used the whole c5 drivetrain

I think you would blow what ever shocks/coil-overs you have in the front. I have a ford 460 sitting in my garage and it broke my 750lb capacity engine stand. The block alone weighs over 200lbs and the crank is over 80lbs. each head is over 100lbs. ect ect. Theres a reason why its a TRUCK motor.

Bad Idea, You need something alot lighter than the 460. Any Cast Iron V8 is a bad Idea.

Hell no! Im not changing motors in my S14, Its keeping the KA. But its going to be 6pd soon. The goal for that car is to make it handle extreamly well while being comfy to drive.

If anything the 460 would go into an old for truck(it came out of my old 92 F-250) or something, maybe a replica 32 coupe, something that I would just cruise with and not care to much how it handles. The motor is completly torn down. I have a full rebuild kit for it. I just haven't felt like messing with it the last 3 years. I'll put it back together when I have a use for it.

i was not mocking him. i really do want to put an old school carb'd V-8 in a skyline. There are street legal R32's and R33's in the U.S. Get one of those sell the RB off and put a v-8 in it. I think it would be a great ride and it would piss alot of people off. and i like doing things that are different

The GTS' are RWD not AWD, so fab up a set of mounts, a radiator and have a custom driveshaft made.

I also want to put a turbo'd Ford 2.3 in a Triumph spitfire. 400hp, 450ft/lbs <2000#
