Default HELP: removing harmonic balancer

Is there any way to remove the harmonic balancer/crank bolt without the use of an impact gun? I can't get this fucker off.

Thanks.

You can hold the flywheel bolts.

Put the car in first gear lock the e-brake, or put the car in first gear and have someone stand on the brake pedal then attempt to take it off.

if you dont have a good breaker bar, you better find one... if the motor is on a stand put 3 bolts in the flywheel saide of the crank. put a socket extension in the middle, turn the crank so that the extension is stopped against the stand. lossen the bolt.

also be carefull when you use the balancer remover tool. the pointed piece can get stuck in the end of your crank and damage threads. try to use the washer from the back of the balancer bolt and put it against the end of the crank where you just removed the bolt from. then the pointed piece can push against that instead. may need a hammer to get it loose so that it starts comming off.

you can use a 1/2 inch wratchet with a pipe over the end of it. make sure it is going the correct direction and use the starter to turn the motor over. the pipe must be positioned to hit the frame rail. leave about six inches of space before the pipe hits the frame to give the starter momentum.

Motor is on a stand. Guess I'll try Mustangman101's method. Thanks for the info.
