Question To crossover, or not to crossover... That is the question!

/\ My intake... Note the -AN fittings at the rear of the intake... Bought it that way, and not sure if it's necessary to run a crossover line from fitting to fitting, or if I should remove the fittings and plug them.

Discuss. Support theory.

Thanx

How might one measure those fittings to purchase the correct size hose/fittings?

They definately help balance the temp in all the cyl's, and I have always seen atleast a 15 deg drop in running temp when this is done.....

I'm not sure what you mean by how to measure them? but I usually tee them together and run them up to the heater return nipple on the water pump for recirculation..... If you are using a heater core you can go from the back of the intake to the heater core and then up to the water pump.....

I have done this in braided or in regular heater hose, both work fine.....

Pull one of the fittings and take it with you Josh. Easiest way to match it up
