THE OFFICIAL TAMPA RACING PRIVATE TRACK DAY AND BBQ(REVISED)

Yes this is a long post but please read it all, you may want to print this out for future reference.
After much debate behind the scenes we are pleased to announce the Tampa Racing Private Track Day And BBQ. After having a successful event like this for the Ford Forum we are opening it up to a larger group. We are locked and loaded for Sunday, August 11th from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m..
Now here come the tricky part, this event is the same day as the auto-x at the Fairgrounds so you will have to choose which one to attend. There seems to be a auto-x every week around here so maybe some of you will elect to miss one and attend this TR Only event and support your site as well as meet new people, the choice is yours. Also Mark (marksaccord95) will not be having the import event anytime soon that he posted about in the Free-4-All forum due to the track is booked up until mid October. We had to limit how many people could run at this event (60 cars) so here is what has been formulated:
1. Your car has to run 14.50's or faster. So please sign up to run only if you know you can make the cutoff. There is one exception to this rule, if we do not fill all the 60 slots prior to the event we will lower the e.t. cutoff until we fill the event. We are doing this to give the faster cars on the board a day to really test and tune their cars as much as they want with minimal wait and to keep the event from being loaded with slower cars. With 60 cars at the track there will be little to no waiting line. We had 30 at the last event that I held for the Ford Forum and there was NEVER a line all day long.
2. We are taking the first 30 imports and first 30 domestics that meet the above criteria. So first come first served. If we have less of one than another we will open up the slots to a few others that want to attend to fill the 60 slots.
3. If you want to attend you will need to PM me (Fordman) or e-mail me (nosgears@yahoo.com) as soon as possible. Don't bother Zate or Aharon with it, I am doing the leg work.
4. You can bring as many spectators as you want ($5 each) and feel free to show off your cars in the parking areas if you are not going to race. There will not be any official car show for the event. Many people are going to bring BBQ's and the racers will have access to the 1st and 2nd floors of the tower to cool off.
5. If you are a vendor or have something to sell we are only charging $30 for vendors to set-up. That is dirt cheap compared to other events.

The cost for the event is $30 to run and $5 for spectators. This is what we did last time and no one had any problems with it. The price of admission gets you as many runs as you want (no hot lapping please), access to both floors of the tower, and cold drinks. This is cheap for those that want to get in a lot of runs. A typical T nT day will cost you $15-$20 and you may get 6-8 runs in if you are lucky.
