OK..im the guy who does CF work Chad here is talking about...
What exactly are you looking do in the the way of hoods?
I can tell you straight up, its gonna cost you. Usually I will work a deal in which if you supply me with a hood I can KEEP, I will trade for a CF hood in return....BUT you must bring me at least 10 other sales to make my time worth while. If you just want a custom hood for yourself, your looking at time and material to make the mold, then to pop a hood out.... and it wont come at a cheap price if im only making one.

I will say, my schedule is a bit tight right now in that I have a list of parts that I need to make before I begin on other projects. I would be interested, but realize my time is valuable and I have other priorities. It might be a few months out before I can start on a hood project.

Gus - If he can make an exact replica of the hood I'm looking at, he'll have more than a few customers. I have a side business that is fully licensed and legit, so hooking up a group buy would likely not prove to be a problem. Thanks for the referral and look forward to hearing from your friend.

I would be intrested in a few parts for 3 diffrent cars. i can produce keeper parts. (hoods, trunks. sunroofs.) i also could come up with well more then 10 other sales for each part. closer to 20-30 other customers. any hands on or sales assentance i can also provide to make this happen.

If your truely interested in a bolt in crx sunroof , contact RPI at rpiracing.com. John there has been a gracious host to our carbon adventures, and is maintaining a list of people who are interested in crx sunroofs. They are high on our project list, but we have yet to make any molds or really think through the production methods we need to use.

John's a great guy and keeps getting sidetracked with other projects, so the CRX sunroof project has been sitting on the back burner for a while. I'll pester him in October when the big Florida CRX meet goes to Orlando.
