heh....

let me just clarify on my post about how we owe parts to people...

we have been developing some new parts and been making molds and doing some experimenting on parts for some people who own the same trucks as us.

Its not that we "owe" cause we are slacking... sounded kinda bad, so i just wanted to clarify....

meanwhile, while we are gone for the weekend, if you guys have any questions, post or email... get back with everyone on monday.

thanks

easy? it hurts my brain to think about it.

do you want to pay to do it? you'd be pissed at the price quoted.

qoute me then.. There are like 3 or so supported holes for bolts to go through to hold it onto the intake manifold. And the tubing is about 3-3.5inches in diameter.

woops, this is "Kyle K" BTW

honestly, looking at it, i dont have a clue...

making a tubular shape is quite an undertaking. You can use foam as a core, mold around it, then somehow get the foam core out of the center by methods of brute force, chemicals or actually cutting the mold in two then molding it back together.

While this method works, it doesnt make for a nice clean shape on the inside of the piece.

The easiest and the cheapest way I could see doing it is to actually mold off that piece, carefully cut it in 2 halfs, then epoxying the 2 pieces back together. This is the half ass method.

Lets put it this way, what do you think its worth? And whats the value of a stock piece?

piece is about $200. But the piece i would want you to mold around is from an Rs4 with a little bigger dimensions. and it's made out of aluminum. Looks pretty much the same though. I dont know how much you would charge, i have no idea. I'm asking you because i really dont have any cllue.
