Default Most important aspect of a car?

Ok...
What is most important to you in a performance car.

Most of use have limited funds to work with when building our cars... so when it comes down to it, what do you spend your money on?

Ive spent about
$2763 on mods that increase horsepower and torque
$1052 on mods that make my drivetrain more effiecent and smooth.
$2225 on suspension mods to make it handle and hook better... compromised but mainly geared toward handling.
Then some of funds were spent that improved looks and handling or effiecency and integrity.
Spent a couple thousand on appereance mods too.. partly because ive been hit and did the mods while the parts were being fixed/replaced.
Spent several hundred on basic needs and making sure everything works properly.

(Not all parts new, Go with the good deals)

So judging from my spending, power is the most important to me, then handling and hooking up, then looks, , then efficency and smoothness.

I know i could have spent all my money on making the car go faster... but thats just not me. What about you?

First define your goals and realize there will be compromises unless you are build ing a dedicated track car. After that it's all about having the total package to attain what you set out to do.

As for me, speed is #1. I have yet to spend a dime on anything looks related, or suspension since mine is fine right now. I am about to dip into some funds for looks real soon though. And then more speed

Show and Go! Now its time to invest in a big brake kit to slow her down.

Getting it to work right- always on top, Speed #1, stopping #2, getting a good stereo in there #3, handling #4, looks #5.

Right now the next few mods will be speed oriented. Then I want to do something about the brakes, may be as simple as some good pads. There's no stereo whatsoever, which is why that's so high on the list. Handling is important to me, too, but being realistic about it this is florida, there's no mountain roads, hell, there's hardly even any curves. The most use I'll get out of a good handling car on the street is taking a 90 degree turn faster. Looks don't really concern me. All I would be doing looks wise would be getting it into good-condition stock appearance, except for the drop that would go along with handling (but it would be a small drop, not a cosmetic to-the-ground drop) and maybe some rims to replace the steelies I have now (not many good tires for 14" steelies).

Power to Weight and most importantly, Power
Handling
Braking

Having all that in an attractive package is just a bonus.
