I thought that you meant it could rev up to 21k rpms from the title i was like no Saturn could ever do that.

supercharged or not...it's still a saturn....kinda like turbocharged or not...its still a neon

but i'd much rather buy a srt-4 over an ion...nvm to late

Appearantly GM is holding down the redline and boost settings till they are confident that the engine will handle it. They are pretty sure it will but I guess they are playing it safe.

Who knows, give it time. GM has never had a problem backing there sport compact offerings w/ aftermarket support, drag teams, etc. I'm sure they will have some sort of Stage 1-3 upgrades, etc. just like Dodge is offering.
