I'm still trying to find out what to be scared of.

Just kidding Al. The heads look REAL good. Can't wait to see it back together and at the track running some 9's.

Tony,

It's hard to say. Factory LQ9 castings are about 70-72cc. These were welded and then ported. Prior to the 0.040" milling, they were right at 70cc again. The milling brought them back to 64...our target.

You got it. Most all ported LSX style heads open up this hole. Nothing a little sealant on the rocker bolt won't fix.

The funniest part of Brandons little remark is, and I shouldnt be saying this in front of Scott, is that that intake port is measured off a 1262R intake gasket. Im sure you know what that is. This port was modeled after a Ford Renegade head

Probably after the Twisted Wedge Renegade port program
Great shots and numbers AL, and excellent work Brandon.. I should've sent my Canfields up with you so you could've given them such TLC!

I didn't get quite the peak #s on my Canfields, but then again my runner volume was only 216 and they still flowed 320...

Excellent work guys.. Hope it comes together soon!
