And new wheel or not it will be rebalanced. If all I had to do was replace the seals, that would be the only way I could get away without it.

Oh god...replace the seals?! How the hell do you do that?! I've wondered that since the first day I took apart a 12A...

You can remove and replace labrinith seals just like you do with piston rings.

I used a small set of snap ring pliers to expand mine enough to get them off.

The seals on the intake side were in great shape but the exhaust side was seeping a bit.

No, it was a week long automotive class showing what you'd be doing if you took it during the year. They had random parts sitting around, including about 3 Northstar V8s, 2 Corvette LS1s, a brand new C5 vette with probably less than 100 miles, and 2 corsicas, along with 2-3 turbos "sitting around". The teacher (Mr. Brito, hes really cool) noticed my obsession with turbos and let me take apart a 12A that they had. I have however worked on a chevy "custom delux diesel" and a S-10's AC.
