So I decided I'm going to take the route of making my Z look better then OEM. Yes I know Im not a big body kit fan, but the 280 just needs more to it then what came stock... So here she is, or similar to the final product. I've calculated this to be about a 2 year project... :o

Colour will be a deep black, 4 layer clear coat, 3 layer high gloss black. Corbeau seats, 4pt harness, 6pt cage, Corsa D steering wheel, and this body kit, minus the wing. I have a wing I've found that is functional and made specificly for the Z series. 380lbs of downforce @ 80mph! I've also decided to go with custom wheels 16x7 in the front, and 16x8 in the rear. I dont think I can go wider Suspention is going to be ground control coil overs, with Tokico Illumina shocks, going with all new black/grey interior, new carpet and maybe if the rust is too bad going with new floor pans. Glad my friends and I can weld and paint!












Going with the black and red one's style, but colours will be black/grey.


Shift knob will be either the black/grey with 1-5,R on it, or high gloss Walnut with black Z logo.

Well the wing isn't goin on the car, Im not purchasing it. The wheels in the pic are not the same either as mine will be custom, and dished more in the rear then the front. I have not decided on what they will be yet.

The project is spaning over the next 24 months, begining with removal of the rust, and primering the car, then a base flat black coat will be used. Once the exterior is up to code, the interior will be installed, using black dash/panels, black carpet and headliner, grey seats with grey accents for things such as the shift boot, and ebrake deal, the harnesses will be black and grey as well.

Estimated costs as of now are around $4,000. :o

After the resurrection is completed Im switching back to my old car to tote around my fat ass for a few weeks while waiting on the pistons and headwork to be completed. A new intercooler and SC61 will be awaiting the engine build. For good measure a 75 shot will be added, along with a custom intake manifold and fuel rail. I haven't decided on which EMS to go with. Im thinking electromotive.

Dunno haven't been home yet to check my email, it had like 4 days on it last night left. I emailed the guy in hopes for the entire interior cause it's all pretty freakin good lookin.
