And of course a good flow bench needs a bench to put the tested item on so I went to work on making one out of plexi. Now I just need a hole saw and a few more scrap pieces of plexi.

Well, I finally got around to finishing up my flow bench project.

This means I should be able to flow my heads and manifold and get them put together pretty soon.

I threw one of my ported heads on the finished rig and maxing out the pump I was flowing 5% more CFM using only half the vacuume I previously did through the same 0.4" intake valve opening.

Well, my intake ports are done, and flowing very well to boot. If my numbers are correct I am flowing better than a set of high peformance small block heads.

The numbers represent an improvement of better than 40% over the stock ports.

All of my heads are also within 1% of each other.

Here is a chart I made of my flow numbers for different valve lift.

Nice set up,don't you have a flowbench at work?Can you do V8 heads?I really would like to get an idea what mine are flowing.

Tho I havea question lets say taht one of 'em arnt flowing equal to the other's... Do you fix it yourself or do you have to take them to a shop to have them do it....
