1969 ZL 1 Camaro For Sale On EBay
This is perhaps one of the only GM's I would ever own, that is if I could afford it ! In case you do not know the history of these cars they were purpose built drag cars with all aluminum 427's. They were rated at 450 hp but it was rumored it was more like 500-550. Amazingly they ran in the mid to low 11's with shitty bias-ply tires !

Hell yeah! I've been amazed by those cars for years when I read an article in a model magazine about a guy that built one in hugger orange. It was a base model camaro in every aspect but the drivetrain. Truly badass cars that would never get past the bean counters today
pretty amazing that they ran mid to high 11's...
i was under the impression that they ran mid to high 12's from a book featuring GM muscle cars.
EDIT: interestingly...there seems to be some discrepancy about how fast these cars truly were. on a few websites i've seen people list their performance in the mid-high 11's at 115-120 range while mopar muscle magazine lists the car's performance at around 13.1@110.

I'm guessing the car's performance was closer to low 13's at 110...
