i have to ask. cus ive never really looked into porsches. whats the difference between porsche and RUF? i just remember seeing RUF on gran turismo instead of porsche and it got me confused.

RUF is an auto maker.. subsequently any car RUF produces is a RUF, not a porsche anymore..

they got the porsches into grand turismo under the ruf name because porsche didnt want to do it.

not like amg at all. Ruf builds the car themselves entirely. I will try to dig up the picture tour of the factory. A bare frame is sent to RUF and they build it up from there... Alois Ruf actually has a couple of 993 frames saved in case one of his customers wants a RUF 993. Pretty damn cool... I'll search for the factory tour.
