Flashing Headlights Ticket!!!

I passed a Cop sitting in the dark on North Boulevard the other night when it was already dark, with his lights off. As soon as I passed him, I flashed my brights to warn the others 5 or so cars ahead. My brights are aimed super high and they lite up the whole damn road, it was soooo obvious. Cop didnt do anything.

Thanks to all of you that continue to warn other drives about speed traps .... It makes no differance if I Win or Lose my court case I will still continue to warn others and I hope they will continue to do the same for me as well.

Cops arent allowed to sit without lights on.They are required to have their marker lights on incase someone has a emergency.

I'm sure you all will be happy to hear that I went to court for this *cough Bullshit cough* citation this afternoon and believe it or not the officer actually showed up to fight it.
First let me say that prior to going to court I stopped by the DMV and picked up a Offical Florida Drivers Handbook which clearly states.
- On a two-lane road, tap your horn, or at night blink your headlights to let the other driver know you are passing.
So needless to say I was found "NOT GUILTY" and the officer was none to happy.

nah nah nah, you guys got all the excuses all wrong, you missed the first thing he said, "an unmarked crown vic" its a florida law that you dont even have to stop for an unmarked police car. fact. they cant even chase you if you run, unless you already are known to have a misdimeanor crime, cant go on a chase for "flashing headlights", shoulda just ran, sounds silly, but, true. At least you got away with it, but what a waste of fuckin time for such a dumb thing
