Default *Driver Dies in First Indy Race*

This is a very sad... Rookie Pual Dana Pronounced dead after hitting another driver at full speed. This was the first race of the season for indy car at Homestead in Miami. This was also the first Indy car race for Pual Dana. Dont know how old he was but he looks young. I am sure they will honor him at the St. Pete Grand Prix.

I was there. That was a practice session. It should not have gone down like that.

Racing is inherently dangerous and people WILL die from time to time. Safety has come a long way to increase driver survivability in a wreck ( the biggest factor being fuel cells), but no matter how much we improve, there's always going to be a freak accident. It's sad that it happened, but he knew the risks.

It was so sad but from watching the vid and seeing all the other drivers who avoided him as he slid down the embankment it made me wonder why he didn't react as well

r.i.p. so young

one of the drivers put it like this "...it was his destiny..."

sad day

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
