That depends on the stretch. 255's on a 10 is a stretch but it works just fine. 235's on a 10 is useless.

well that depends on what your idea of stretched tires are. A 255 on a 10 in wheel is a slight stretch, but a 225 on a 10 in wheel is stupid. These are, of course, my opinions

I'm referring to the people who'll stretch a 195 on a 10 inch wheel. Driving around on the sidewall is tight, dog.

Yep completely posing. Maybe you should take a look at where stretching tires and running staggered wheels originally came from.

staggered wheels came from RWD cars needing more traction for big power. FWD's are neither RWD nor have big power

Your defense is not relevant because you are not using stretched tires nor staggered fitment for their intended purpose

Being the nice guy that I am, I've decided to answer your question with a picture:

There you go.

The lowrider culture started loooong before Japanese kiddies started sliding around, sorry. They've been stretching tires since the 1950's.

Ha ok, if you knew the reason that people do it on FWD european cars then maybe you'd understand. I guess you cant do anything about the "omgrwdcarsarethebestever" guys. But whatever Im not to shit this thread up arguing with people that dont get it. Have fun with your monster trucks.

is mine called a monster truck because i could tackle speed bumps, or driveway entrances?

and you're wrong about another thing too. I am not one of those "RWDisBETTERthanANYTHING" dudes. I am a "FWD is worse than anything" guy. But that comes from me liking to drive my cars (often, in anger ), not just posing for pictures and impressing the wheel fitment critics on some msg board. Looks of course are a concern, but not a priority.
