Awesome, now I don't know how to drive. This guy is a riot!

I've got a challenge for your Rabbit: I'll name a street in Palma Cia and you drive down it at 30mph. We'll see what's left of it at the end of 6 blocks if it makes it that far.

didnt stretched tires on vws start because in germany tires have to sit inside the fenders but people wanted to have big lip wheels, so stretching it was a way of getting around it. I was pretty sure how the whole stretching on audis/vws etc got started, not copying lowriders

I think it looks pretty cool in some cases but i would also never do it, dont think the vette community would be too fond of me..lol

So you're denying where the whole idea of stretched tires came from? Interesting. Ze Germans didn't invent everything.

And my bad, I get Golfs and Rabbits mixed up. I don't know anything, I drive an off-road vehicle and am over the age of 16.

I thought it was also the lack of camber adjustment as well and it became a way to clear the fenders with wider wheels.

Not denying anything. Im telling you thats the reason we (VW/Audi people) stretch tires. Nice try though.

Ok guys this has been fun. You can call it what you will and say what ever you'd like. But until you know what you're talking about you should just stop. This right here are the reasons that we do it. Might be difficult for some of you to grasp but its the truth.
