i'm not saying it is THE substitute and that everything racing should run air. but it's had good results.
and when i said it in that context, it was for VIP'ed cars
On big cars, I still don't use the term vip because it seems really fad like, I will agree with you.
I love slammed cars, and those tanks don't really handle anyway so why not.
On something like a civic, I think if you're not static dropped and slammed you're taking the pussy way out. It's easily done on coils, and you're not ruining the handling.
If all you care about is looks and not performance, then that's the defenition of rice. Which is ghey to me

i would do the air on my civic in a heart beat. to have the instant adjustment, and be able to set my stance to just about anything i'd ever want, i would love it, being just a DD, stock y8, with a/c and all power stuff workin! then just slam it when its parked...granted it'd be almost 3 times as much as my plain coil setup but we'll see. it's all talk, it wont happen for a WHILE. coils will be first, and soon hopefully.
its it not being a pussy or ricer. just like you said, you can take different routes. i dont need the speed, its just going to cost me more money and gas. i'd rather have the looks of something that people can enjoy also. and i'd rather brake stuff that way than blow whole motors.
