its just deceiving due to the width and tire stretch

Damn I would like to go wider but nobody makes 5x100 wheels in anything wider than a 8.5 unless it is a knockoff brand.... Im thinking about giving up my Advans.

conversion hubs 5x100 to 5x114 or u can always fill and re drill the wheels.

A hub conversion for a WRX i've heard is over $1000 plus wheels, and adapters are about 15mm thick, so I would still have to run a +40 offset give or take.

Im no going to compromise the structural integrity of a wheel just for looks, its not that important to me. I would rather be on stock wheels.

Fill and redrill are much safer then conversion adapters. German guys do it all the time to turn the 5x120 to 4x100 lug pattern.
