uhm....I do.
our streets get "salted" to melt the ice....salt is aggresive and can cause rust, can destroy you rims (thats why I ride steels in wintertime) and whatnot.
Getting that shit off your car is worth every cent.

+1, but its always good to wash your car, in winter, summer, rain, snow, etc. You clean and proctect the paint, if not it will become faded, clear coat might peal, paint stained, etc, etc, etc.
