I believe roads are shaped like that for water runoff. I like the simple look to it. Nothing too crazy, it's a nice, subtle build.

^ It has to do with the way we have to crown the roads in Ohio for water so that they don't freeze in the winters etc, so yes the road is the culprit, not the car.
