I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

All books by the late Carrol Smith. I have every single one except the one on driving (mostly because I was never a driver, only the engineer). But I will be picking it up shortly

i have quite a few, cant remember the names, but the best piece of advice is this, the fastest way around the track is also the straightest. Slow in fast out, hit your apexes, know the limitations of your vehicle, and respect those limitations and capabilities, even equipment, if you want to do well.
