Its one of those things that Chuck talks about. Traffic laws are supposed to be about safety. Realistically is there a reason for laws against modified exhausts, loud stereos, other than serving someone's own preference? No, neither can realistically be thought of as safety violations.
I mean, shit, you can have all your assets seized for any number of reasons, but they can't take your car. Are you going to let them start taking your car for stereo violations now?

I can't wait till they become nazis and just make everyone drive prius's, im sure youll still be on the bandwagon right? Though I agree people who are at stoplights with that shit so loud that my car shakes 20 feet from them, impounding their car is a tad retarded.

i think its common courtesy not to listen to music loud enough for others to hear, i for damn sure don't like what you're listening to, and you probably don't share my taste in music, i don't force you to listen to mine, why should i be forced to listen to yours?
if your on the highway, who gives a shit, blow your ears out, but in town at a stop light, its annoying, i don't sit next to you and bounce my car off the rev limiter do i?
