What did you run at the track day ?
My day was not so hot. This was a first outing for me with a new tranny/clutch/shifter setup. Out of 8 passes, I was only able to get 3 clean runs in. And when I did get those runs in, my car was down 2-2.5lbs of boost and as such my ET and MPH were way off. I should have been 12.0'-12.1's but I could only get a 12.3 out of it. A far cry from my last time at the track with a PB of 11.8 @ 124. I have since found that my surge valve has failed and was not shutting all the way under boost. Looks like about $170 and I should be good to go.

Yeah that was me. All day my car never really felt connected to the track and the back seemed to wander. I think I had my tire pressure too low (13psi). Between that, missed shifts (new tranny and shifter I need to get used to), and a bad surge valve my day was ho hum. I drove it home so all cant be bad.
Thanks for the compliments on its sound!
BTW My fav was the Pinto wagon! That was just too much fun to see it run, and run, and run, and run, etc.....
Say, since you saw a couple of my runs, did you see any blue or black smoke from the exhaust? Its not that anything was wrong, I was just wondering.
Thanks
