Aston Martin brings us another superior quality, high performance luxury ride in the form of the 2008 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster. This year’s V8 Vantage Roadster has a two-passenger capacity with its 2-door convertible sports car veneer. It is available in a single trim called the Base. The 2008 V8 Vantage Roadster comes with a standard V8, 4-3 L, 380-hp engine that can achieve up to 27-mpg when driven on the freeway and 13-mpg in the city streets. It also comes with the standard 6-speeed manual transmission with the overdrive feature.





This year, the Vantage Roadster debuts with an incredibly powerful V8 engine. It also has lighter wheels, with some minor changes on the interior and the exterior trims. Another great feature of this new convertible is its firmer suspension tuning. You can find the V8 Vantage Roadster in two body styles, the roadster and the coupe. Other standard features included in this new ride includes the auxiliary audio jack, the windshield-embedded radio antenna as opposed to body-mounted, audio controls on the steering wheel, cupholders and the optional satellite radio.

Vehicle Pros: Aside from its gorgeous exterior, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster and Coupe comes with a customizable exhaust roar and rumble, superior handling and limited production numbers that guarantee a certain amount of exclusivity.

Vehicle Cons: some of the luxury features are merely optional, has footwells and narrower seats compared to its rivals. Its performance may also be slightly less compared to other luxury convertible sports cars.

The Verdict: All in all another excellent ride from Aston Martin. This ride definitely exudes elegance. Makes an excellent investment—if you have the money for it.
