ATTN: Joe Dono AKA SCP_Celica SCAMMER

Wow.. finally got to the end of this thread. I've been reading it on and off for the past few nights. It seems like JAPWorks has received more than enough "donations" to help them get the representation needed to take Jow down. Good luck with everything.

So I'm not allowed to post in a thread where I smell a scam(japworks) because of a scammer(joe dono)? Basicly, the way I see this according to the first page, joe screwed this guy over, and now...because this guy is so well liked, everyone wants to throw their money to him. Am I getting it wrong?
Everyone is asking for us to "donate" to this guy because he allowed himself to get screwed. If I'm going to "donate" my hard earned cash, I'm going to ask questions and look at things which may be a scam. This guys post count is absurdly low on here, but he may not have been a member before. I don't know. What I DO know is it smells fishy, and if it is...I hope to expose it. If not, then my questions will just enforce it and let others know it's not by bringing out the truth. I don't want the thread locked either. I enjoy the conversation.

Yep definitely absurdly low, it's a shame I'm not a post whore on here and don't have something negative to say about everyone.
As far as being "so well liked" I am in Ocala, FL, which is Marion County which is TWO HOURS from Tampa. I know maybe 30-40 people on here who also ALL live in Ocala, FL. So far as having money thrown at me, think what you will.
The only thing fishy here is why you are so suspicious. More often than not when someone just outright blatantly accuses someone of something the accuser is actually slightly guilty of the same thing.
Usually the best cops are right there on the edge of being bad cops. This is because they know BOTH sides of the law. Seems like you might be trying to wield that double-edged sword and if you are not careful it just might come back and catch you in the throat.
If you don't know what I'm talking about just watch Catch Me, if You Can. It's based on a true story and talks about how in the end the character played by Leonardo becomes one of the best fraud specialists in the world.

hey importguy, i really suggest you stay on the sidelines for a while. i know it's difficult to allow flamers go off without replying, but i think it's in your best interest to just keep your mouth shut. any attorney would probably tell you the same. you may want to consult with him/her before posting on here.
this whole donation thing is getting out of hand. it went from a legal fund, to a personal expenses fund...which really isn't a clear cut difference from a business expense fund since your personal finances are tied to your business. im not an auditor or lawyer or anything, but it seems pretty obvious to me it's not as cut an dry as you hope it to be. sad to say the pussi has a point. just ignore him and let the others fight the dumb battle for you. post only when you have an update to share with us. good luck.

I've never scammed anyone. Period. But, I've BEEN scammed by others before. In fact, I've been scammed by someone on this site. But...Thats another story for another day.
Why is it fishy that I am so suspicious? I asked questions which you have no real answer for. How is it that SO MANY people on SO MANY different sites are suddenly trying to raise money for some shop owner? This type of thing happens on a REGULAR BASIS. Thats why they have mechanics liens. Yes, it sucks that you have to wait so long for your money, but the laws are there for a reason. The bottom line here in this story is that you got screwed over, so you are appealing to the internet people, and having them help to bail you out of your poor decisions. Sad really that so many are falling for it, but whatever.
As for Joe Dono, I hope he gets completely screwed and gets whats comming to him for scamming you.
But I'm still not "donating" anything to you. If I wanted to give you my hard earned cash, I would bring my car to you to have it worked on.
As one of the 'morons' who gave money to Japworks, here's my take...
A minister once asked the congregation how many gave to charity. Of course, almost everyone raised their hands. He then asks how many would give to a guy on the side of the road with a sign. Far fewer people. Number 1 reason, people were afraid the guy would buy booze instead of food.
The minister then explained how that wasn't the way to look at it. You give what you can, to who you think needs it. Regardless of how they actually use it, you have done a good thing. Let them deal with the consequences of misusing it.
I gave Aaron $25, because I could, and I wanted to. As a former small business owner myself (who actually almost did work for Joe Dono), I felt it was the right thing to do. I'm hoping he used it to pay a lawyer, or put food on the table, but if he bought booze and cigs with it, that's his problem, not mine. If its a scam, I'm out $25, but the big problem is again with him, not me.
All that being said, anyone has the right to give or not give to anyone or any cause they choose. And it makes sense that some people will want to know where their money is going. If the 'cause' doesn't answer to your satisfaction, then don't give. It makes little sense to continue battering the 'cause' or those who have given to it before or after you. Move on to another.

Final thing I am saying about this to 95cobrasvt, I did not try to "appeal" to the internet people so that they would offer me money.
Look at my first post, the very first original post in here, I was just stating what had happened and trying to get people aware of what Joe was capable of and to let them know to avoid him.
You keep asking/stating the same things in different ways and I continue to give you the same answers and yet you are doubtful till the end. Thanks, goodbye!
