Nissan's response to Porsche
Those "don't knows" and "cant explains" are the response to why Porsche can not duplicate the time they did on the Nurburgring, how could they know why they ran a much slower time if they weren't there for the testing?

in my opinion if the GTR times were legit nissan would be all over this. They have been pushing the hype machine on this car for a long while. Now all of a sudden they have become modest and dont have anything to prove. Like stated before they could redo the times with actual witnesses and porsche there. That would be the biggest bitch slap that porsche has ever recieved? But instead we get this wishy washy half ass response? what about the Typo nissan made about the shaved slick tires a while back?
"GTR chief engineer Kazutoshi Mizuno told PistonHeads that his baby had covered over 3000 miles at the Nordschleife and avoided other circuits as they were deemed 'too easy'.
Nissan's original target was to beat the 911 Turbo at the 'ring but they ended up worrying the Porsche Carrera GT.
They didn't beat the GT's 7min 32sec lap time, but got a 7.38 in semi-wet conditions.
We used cut slick tyres" said Mizuno.

From a different auto magazine
Dunlop SP Sport 600 DSST CTT were used, which they say are optional from the dealership.

I'm still waiting for a response on why you think i've "hardly heard of an oil change"
