Ive posted this in Mitsubishi tech but thought that maybe a copy of it would help gather attention in here if I was worng feel free in deleting this..

Maybe one of you can help.

My G/Fs eclipse has been hard to start the past few weeks and finally left her stranded tonight here is what it has been doing:

sometimes you turn the ignition... nothing. (may or may not be related)

sometimes the starter will turn the engine over and over and over but it will not start if you pop the hood and hook up jumper cables to another car it starts immediately (until this last time)

and other times the car will start then it will idle rough or even stall out for a few short seconds then it runs perfect once it gets past that point.

Any ideas?

again this is a 1996 eclipse RS automatic 70000 miles... etc..
