What is the best painters blue tape for taping up the front of the car for road trips? Also can i get this anywhere like Walmart? Do they sell anything else similar to painters tape at a part store for this? Just want to make sure i get the right tape for doing this.

Scotch brand is usually the best and i always get it at Home Depot. Its pretty cheap there. It comes in several sizes but the 2" wide is the easiest to cover large areas with.

walmart, home depot, etc. all sell blue painters tape. 3m makes it and make sure you look at the adhesive ratings. Go for the medium adhesive rating and you should be fine.

Every time I use 3m blue painters tape on my car it eats the clearcoat. Which I find odd.
