Yes yes Ive heard all about how wonderful they are and their pricing is great but what do you folks think about a set on my SS. Does anyone know if they are even available in that size? What is it again. 285/40/17? Are they still selling at a good price? Whats the deal about them now that they have been on the market for a little while?

What makes it a good tire? The tire compound is hard as a rock and the damn thing has too many grooves in it. Sure its quiet good wet traction and last forever but dry grip on the damn things SUCK. It has better wet traction than dry traction. The damn things never warm up because of the symmetrical tread design and I went from a yokohama avs intermediate (god I miss that tire) and going from the avs to the kumho all my max cornering speeds dropped 7-10 mph. The first week I had the kumhos on I must have pissed my pants about 12 times. Im telling you compared to anything with a 200 treadwear the kumho has as much grip as a turd. Look into the falken azenis heard much praise about more grip from those things over the cumHO I mean kumho.

what makes you think that? My post on the tires or the fact that I want to slash my own tires cause I hate them so bad?

Which Kumhos do you have? I have the 712 Estca Supras... I like them. Fair dry traction and good water traction. If money was no option i would buy Firestone SZ50 EPs. Those tires are like drag radials that can take corners and handle in the rain.
