2011 Mustang 5.0 or 2011 Camaro SS1?
^ If this was the same Ford from pre 05, I would say this could be a fluke model. Ford has really stepped up their game lately and they have been cranking out some good stuff... Skip any Ford except new ones and then pre 1980ish.
Well i see this site is still good for a laugh every once in a while. Comparing the 3 valve 4.6 to the ls3 is a joke. If you believe that then i guess you would think the ls9 is equal to the 5.0? hahaha. Also posting about camaro's running mid 13's stock but the new mustang's running low 12's stock... that is another misconception. Funny thing is i saw 3 different stock 5.0 mustangs all running low 13's at the track. Yes on the internet you can read about this and that but that is what i have seen so far first hand. Keep in mind to some people stock means an intake/tune/drag radials, stock to me means delivered that way from the factory. As posted earlier when my SS was bone stock it went 13.1 at 109mph multiple times, those are average real world results. I do agree that for 1/4 mile track performance the new mustang is a better platform and it is already lighter but for an all around car i picked the camaro.

The new 5.0 mustang gets down but it still looks like the 4.6 which dosn't really do it for me at the price. I guess I still need to see one with the correct stance/wheels.
I like how the camaros look and they're almost just as quick. They're within bolt-on's apart from eachother anyway

It's kind of hard to compare a 5.7L+ 2v pushrod engine to a 4.6L OHC 3v motor. The bolt on 3v's don't do too badly though, 11's is pretty fast considering.
