^ If this was the same Ford from pre 05, I would say this could be a fluke model. Ford has really stepped up their game lately and they have been cranking out some good stuff... Skip any Ford except new ones and then pre 1980ish.

Challenger is just plain over priced for the numbers it put down, But it does look extremely good!

The 5.0 is a step or 2 above the current Camaro, theres no way around this.
Well i see this site is still good for a laugh every once in a while. Comparing the 3 valve 4.6 to the ls3 is a joke. If you believe that then i guess you would think the ls9 is equal to the 5.0? hahaha. Also posting about camaro's running mid 13's stock but the new mustang's running low 12's stock... that is another misconception. Funny thing is i saw 3 different stock 5.0 mustangs all running low 13's at the track. Yes on the internet you can read about this and that but that is what i have seen so far first hand. Keep in mind to some people stock means an intake/tune/drag radials, stock to me means delivered that way from the factory. As posted earlier when my SS was bone stock it went 13.1 at 109mph multiple times, those are average real world results. I do agree that for 1/4 mile track performance the new mustang is a better platform and it is already lighter but for an all around car i picked the camaro.

i agree, you're right that the LS3 is better than a 3V 4.6, but i still think a newer GT is a better put together car than the Camaro, the Camaro's LS3 would be the only advantage over a 4.6 mustang IMO, and it has no advantage over a 5.0. the only thing these engines have in common is 8 cylinders so it just depends on what valvetrain you're more comfortable with when it comes to modding one. I just prefer a Ford for its fit and finish, and thats only recently. GM is getting better on that end but they still have some catching up to do to get on Fords level.

The new 5.0 mustang gets down but it still looks like the 4.6 which dosn't really do it for me at the price. I guess I still need to see one with the correct stance/wheels.

I like how the camaros look and they're almost just as quick. They're within bolt-on's apart from eachother anyway

It's kind of hard to compare a 5.7L+ 2v pushrod engine to a 4.6L OHC 3v motor. The bolt on 3v's don't do too badly though, 11's is pretty fast considering.
