only read the original post, didnt care what else was said...

But I wanted to chime in a bit about the Prius. I think that car is a waste of money. I had to rent a car to drive from South Carolina to Florida so I could go home and pick up my new Civic, and HERTZ gave me a Prius, the car itself drove fine, and whoever said it feels like its not going anywhere obviously hasnt driven one, because they pick up and go just fine... i drove the shit out of that car and they pick up and go just like any other car.Buttttt my problem with that car, beside it being ugly as shit, you buy a car like that for one reason, its "amazing gas mileage". Well I question that, the guage coming down to Florida said i was getting 40-50mpg the whole time, and then when I returned car it said i averaged 43.4mpg, ,okay great.... its a 13 gallon tank, and it took me a tank and a half to get home. Now my Civic that I got that weekend i had to turn around and drive that right back to SC, its also a 13 gallon tank, and It took me a tank and not even 1/4 to get home... i only had like 30 miles left when I had to fill it up again. Which doing that math, was only 37mpg, so that tells me the Prius gauge is off big time, and whoever waste their money on that car is fuckin retarded.

And a side note, once a warranty ends on a Prius, i feel bad for whoever has to replace parts on that car, way too much technology involved in that car, its cool and all, but shit $$$$
