ok fine here is the proof to silence the masses, now it is not BONE stock, in that i was wrong, but it is also not modded to any heavy extent and yes they ran a 14.9 on the factory tires but they put the "drag slicks" on it just like i said and it ran 13's "all day long" with simply adding a cold air kit and some under drive pulleys. now call me crazy but i think that is pretty fucking close to stock. If i could run 13's in my car just by adding a cold air kit and underdrive pulley's i'd do it in a heartbeat.

Never gonna happen... I have a freind who has a ACR with a set of cams and iceman intake. MSD ignition. venom cpu and 50 hp shot.
With out the Nitrous he runs 10.3 and with nitrous he runs 9.6 all day long.
So he runs about 15.3 in the quarter on NOS...
Which is slower than my N/A RX7.

funny how SCC posts the 14.90 and then only says "13 second range" Why wouldnt they just post their best time with a time slip?? seems like BS to me until i see a timeslip or even a quoted 13 second time

That engine looks to be about as stock as my gutted race car...
You never said it was gutted out and has racing throttle bodies and who knows how much head work was done.
By friend can drive quite well, he is about 38 years old and has a Hemi and has no problems getting that car to run 12s stock... So thats not the case. He is a very good driver....

the throttle body's and headwork etc...etc.... came in to make the 11 sec. passes. it says right in that paragraph that it took "cold air kit" and "unorthadox racing underdrive pulley's" to make it run a 14.9 and then with slicks and lightweight rims it ran 13's, now weather or not it was gutted by that point, i dont know, but 3 small mods to get 13's is still pretty damn good for a compact car.
