Tire Review: Falken Ziex
Just had my new Falken Ziex's mounted today, and the Focus now handles like a damn land yacht. Steering response has gone down the shitter and it feels semi-unstable at higher speeds. I went with the 205/50-16's, which is my stock size, yet the actual width looks more like a 185.
Maybe I'm just use to my sticky 215/50-16 BFG KDW's. Maybe there is no comparing an $81 tire to a $190 tire. Maybe I'm just fucked in the head.
I seriously regret not forking over extra cash for a better set of tires. Lesson learned.

Discount Tire Direct is going to be speaking with Falken about their 30-day money back guarantee. I'll probably just bite the bullet and go with a set of Azenis. Not really concerned about tire wear at this point, I just want my car to not handle like a mid-80's Caprice.

even Kumho 712's are better than that.. other favorites are Sumitumo HTR 200 for cheapness and performance

kumho 711's are good for street use, but wear out before long... azenis dont last as long as the kumhos, but ive got a set and i love them.
